Ex-Canadian MP Inky Mark Arrested After Police Find 439 Firearms in His Home Former Manitoba lawmaker faces firearms charges after major RCMP seizure A former Canadian Member of Parliament, Inky Mark, has been arrested after police discovered a large collection of weapons at his home in Dauphin, Manitoba. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP said officers seized 439 firearms, an antique cannon, ammunition, and more than C$300,000 in cash during a search linked to a firearms trafficking investigation. Mark, 78, who represented the Dauphin area in Parliament from 1997 to 2010, has been charged with multiple firearms-related offences, including alleged firearms trafficking, unsafe storage of firearms, and possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and that it could take weeks to fully document the seized weapons and determine how many may have been illegally possessed. Authorities allege that at least three of the firearms were illegally trafficked, while one had its serial number altered. The seizure followed a months-long investigation by Manitoba RCMP. Mark has been released from custody under conditions, and the allegations against him have not been tested in court.
